About THE AUTHOR

Wendys Suero is a Dominican author, singer, and composer whose creative spirit bridges the realms of music, technology, and storytelling. Born on February 5th, 1974, Wendys brings a unique perspective to her writing—one shaped by her Caribbean heritage, her technical mind, and her deep exploration of life's most profound questions.  

With a degree in Computer Science, this Dominican author spent years working in the logical world of code and systems before her true calling pulled her toward the page. However, even in her technical career, she found herself drawn to stories—particularly those that wrestle with mortality, purpose, and the invisible forces that shape our lives.  

A devoted mother, Wendys initially channeled her creativity into children's books, crafting tales for young readers. But her novel, The Angel of Death: The Apprentice, marks a bold departure—being her first novel for adult readers and the beginning of an ambitious literary journey. This book represents years of contemplation about death, faith, and what it means to serve a purpose greater than oneself.  

As a singer and composer, Wendys understands rhythm and emotion, and that musicality flows through her prose. Her writing carries the cadence of someone who has listened carefully to life's quieter moments—the spaces between heartbeats, the silence after loss, the whisper of something beyond.
